Episode 1:

Muqaddas and Maaz are siblings from a small town. After losing their mother, they move to Karachi to live with their grandfather, Agha-Ji. Agha-Ji happily accepts them and welcomes them to his home. He is very wealthy and loving. Although Agha-Ji accepts them, the rest of his family is intolerant towards the siblings. They are proud of their wealth and look down on Muqaddas and Maaz.

Agha-Ji’s grandson Arez develops an inappropriate interest in Muqaddas, teasing her relentlessly.

Episode 2:

Fouzia, Arez’s mother, falsely accuses Muqaddas of attempting to manipulate her son into a relationship. She advises Muqaddas to remember her own social standing and not to entertain thoughts of becoming a daughter-in-law in a wealthy household.

Arez forces his way into Muqaddas’s room and tells her to start a physical relationship with him. Muqaddas reacts by slapping him, expressing her disgust at him and his suggestion, which leaves him seething with anger.

Muqaddas expresses her wish for Maaz to marry Aiman, Arez’s sister. However, Maaz points out that Aiman wouldn’t marry him due to their class difference, as he cannot provide her with the lifestyle she’s accustomed to.

Myra, Arez’s cousin, warns Muqaddas to steer clear of Arez, threatening her with consequences, even though she’s aware that Arez is the one pursuing Muqaddas, not the other way around. She tells Muqaddas that Arez belongs to her.

Episode 3:

Agha-Ji asks Aabis, one of his most trusted employees, to pick up Muqaddas from college because her regular driver is unwell. Agha-Ji trusts only Aabis to bring his granddaughter safely home. When Aabis drops Muqaddas off, Arez becomes jealous seeing them together. He tells Muqaddas he doesn’t want to see her with Aabis again and threatens Aabis with consequences if he goes near Muqaddas in the future.

Aabis asks his mother to talk to Agha-Ji about marrying Muqaddas. Agha-Ji agrees to discuss it with Muqaddas and give them an answer. Arez overhears and angrily tells his parents to prevent Muqaddas from marrying Aabis because he wants to marry her. Arez’s mother, Fouzia, says Muqaddas isn’t suitable for him because she’s from a lower-class family and unworthy of him. But Arez is adamant; he insists Muqaddas will only marry him. Agha-Ji presents both proposals to Muqaddas and asks for her opinion. She says she’s willing to marry anyone he chooses for her, except Arez.
